The Studio

With the transition from painting in the landscape, to working as a studio-based artist, from the 1990s onwards, the studio itself has become the source of inspiration for new work. It is filled with collections of found, assembled and created objects - a constantly changing environment, like the natural world outside. 

The studio, with its intended and unexpected visual connections and discoveries has now  become a store of ideas as well as a living installation.
